NEW JERSEY — Animal control authorities in New Jersey found the carcass of a five-foot-long, about 80-pound iguana on the roof of a North Bergen home on Saturday.
Apparently the animal ran away from home a few days ago when the owners opened the windows after a smoking accident and somehow ended up on the roof of the residence located in Columbia avenue.
They did not provide details on when he would die and what kind of restrictions there are on having this type of animal as a pet as, according to reports, the owners would have two other iguanas, but would not provide details.
The authorities are investigating the facts.
