An incredible incident happened on Thursday night in Igoumenitsa, when a motorcyclist came face to face with a snake on the handlebars of his motorcycle.
The driver, while returning from his work with the engine, felt a sudden blow on his arm.
Looking on the move, he perceived that a snake had coiled itself around the steering wheel, its head resting on his hand.
Despite his initial agitation, the motorcyclist was able to stop the motorcycle safely and drive away.
Men from the Fire Service immediately rushed to the scene, who, with composure and professionalism, managed to locate and remove the reptile.
