Without a doubt, one of the great favorites for the title is the Colombian Egan Bernal, that with Ineos will try to repeat the feat achieved in 2019. The 23-year-old rider knows his responsibility and is ready to put on a show on French roads: “There is nothing like winning a Tour de France, and what follows is winning another one,” the champion recently said.
The Zipaquireño, who surprises the world with his intense training, will have a nice dispute on his own team with Froome and Thomas, previous Tour champions. Ineos will put as leader the one who best reaches the competition, a difficult decision for the gallons of each.
For Marco Pinotti, former Italian broker retired in 2013 and current head of performance at the CCC Development Team, the big fight for the trophy will be between two teams: Jumbo and Ineos. Tom Dumoulin, Steven Kruijswijk and Primoz Roglic will have an interesting face to face with Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal.

Before the start of the French race, Egan will have a preparation calendar with important competitions. On July 19 the Colombian will travel to Europe and then run in the Ruta de Occitania, Tour de l’Ain y Critérium del Dauphiné.
