Caution is required this morning for motorists in the Loire department as well as pedestrians. Due to freezing rain overnight, several accidents occurred this morning on the A72 and A89, particularly in the Plaine du Forez near Andrézieux-Bouthéon. The Loire firefighters reported seven accidents from 8 a.m. this Friday, January 28, as well as calls relating to falls on the sidewalks.
The prefecture of the Loire recalls the use of winter equipment for driving, to reduce speed and increase the distance with other vehicles, and to favor teleworking when possible.
