The defeat of Michael Lampert’s team was sealed within 20 seconds. In minutes 37 and 38, Stan Fischer and David Rattensberger turned a 2: 2 into 4: 2 for the juniors – it was already the end result. From VEU’s point of view, it was atypical how the two goals conceded came about: both goals came from a distance, goalkeeper Alex Caffi was twice without a chance.

Feldkirch was sloppy again with his possibilities. Already in the third minute Jordan Pfennich missed the chance to take the lead by going it alone, after that Linus Lundström acted too stubbornly. After Manuel Alberg failed at the edge of the goal, Julian Lutz made it better: In the majority, he brought Salzburg into the lead (15th). For VEU, Niklas Gehringer missed the equalizer (18th), on the other hand Max Menner curled the puck on the crossbar (19th).
In the middle section, Lundström managed to equalize 1-1 (24th), while Mairitsch even put Feldkirch 2-1 (28th) in the lead with a concealed shot. The VEU remained generous in front of the Salzburg Gate, Smail Samardzic (34th) and Stanley (37th) missed, then the guests made the victory clear with a double strike. In the final section, it was Puschnik (44th), Gehringer (46th), Mairitsch and Lundstöm (54th) and (59th) who missed a correction of the result. On the other hand, Caffi was also challenged, he remained the winner against Danjo Leonhardt (45th / 49th) and Alberg (50th).
