Buffalo (AP) – Tobias Rieder and the Buffalo Sabers have missed a surprise in the North American ice hockey league NHL.

In the home game against the Washington Capitals, the bottom of the East Division lost 3: 4. It is the second consecutive loss and the 31st this season.

Rieder stood on the ice for twelve minutes, but was unsuccessful in his two deals. On the other hand, superstar Alexander Ovechkin scored his 727th goal in the best league in the world.

The Minnesota Wild conceded a 9-1 away defeat, but they missed Nico Sturm from Augsburg, against the St. Louis Blues and goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer was not used in the 2-0 win of the Colorado Avalanche at the Anaheim Ducks. Already in the 3: 8 against Minnesota Grubauer was substituted after a little more than 47 minutes.
