“I was the first to say that the covid-19 was bullshit, now I don’t know if I can do it”, confesses young

Chris Grailey, 29, is admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital in Manchester due to covid-19. The Briton, who thought he was “invincible”, decided to record a video from the hospital bed to ask people to take the virus seriously.

The man, who works as a sales manager, says he is one of the many people who despised the virus and admits that he was one of the first to say that the new coronavirus was “bullshit”. Now, Chris, who is breathing with the help of an oxygen mask, confesses that he “does not know” whether he will overcome the disease, but he wants his case to be an example for other young people, before it is too late.

“I don’t know if I get away with it”, he started by telling, in a video sent to Manchester Evening News. I caught the virus in Tenerife, thinking it was invincible, without wearing a mask “, he explained, saying that he lost his taste and smell during the trip and that on his return his health deteriorated, eventually being diagnosed with covid-19.

“I paid the price. I have no other health problems. I don’t want them to make the same mistakes as me,” he appealed. “I really want you to hear this message, because it can happen to anyone,” he said.

On social media, Chris had already talked about what he was feeling. “The way I felt was the closest I’ve ever been to hell – honestly, I sat there and was ready to give up,” he said. “I can’t breathe , walk, move. I’m like a zombie, ”he said.

“I am telling you all this because I was the first to say it was all bullshit and ‘I am young (…) it is just a bad flu, government conspiracy Bla bla bla’, wrong. me, ”he concluded.
