I live in a Home Depot shed – it saved me a lot of money but everyone asks where my son sleeps

A popular children’s game supposedly predicts whether you would end up living in a mansion, apartment, cottage or house.

As the cost of living and home prices continue to rise, many people are considering the option of a cabin, or rather a shed.

TikTok user Nick Lucido shared his family’s story of living in a Home Depot shed.

On his Instagram page, Nick explained how he, his wife and their young son came to their unique life situation.

After getting into debt trying to pay the mortgage on their home, Nick and his wife decided to sell it and lived in an RV for a while.

He explained, “We saw a two-story shed in the parking lot at The Home Depot and we were like, ‘I think we could make this work.'”

The shed is 860 square feet and includes a bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and living area, and a lanai.

After he posted his original videos showing the outside of the shed, many of Nick’s followers wondered where his son had slept.

In his upstairs tour video, Nick showed viewers the crib his young son sleeps in.

He also showed off the rest of the bedroom, which included a full washer and dryer in a closet, as well as a walk-in closet.

The master bathroom is complete with his and hers sinks, a full shower and even has a tiny urinal for the couple’s young son.

TikTok users shared their thoughts and questions about living in a shed in the comments section.

“Wow, this house is amazing – I want one like this!! You did a great job!” said one user.

Another person inquired what the couple’s plan is for when their son gets older.
