Under this move, millions of users who own smartphones that run iOS 7 and Android 2.3.7 have to buy new phones to avoid stopping their current accounts due to the global application.

With regard to the iPhone phones on which the application will depend, it includes phones running iOS 7, which are iPhone 4 and earlier versions.
The last smartphone to be released with the iOS 7 was the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in 2013, and it was replaced by iOS 8 in 2014, so if you buy an iPhone (or iPad) after that date, don’t worry.
And on the Android system, WhatsApp will depend on the Android 2.3.7 version, which came to light in 2010, but by February 2011 it has been replaced by Android 3.0, you have to worry if you are using Android Nexus S or Samsung Galaxy S phones, As for the latest phones, they will not be affected by the decision to stop.
WhatsApp says that no one using these old phones can create new accounts or restart existing ones.
