A few days ago, while he was eating, Thierry, a resident of Sainte-Marie-La-Mer, in the extreme south of France, not far from the Spanish border, felt a sting in the level of his shin: “I just had time to perceive that it was a spider, but I did not worry more than that,” he explained to The Independent. “I disinfected the points she left me, nothing more.”
What he didn’t know was that he hadn’t been bitten by anyone. Indeed, it was only a few hours, in the middle of the night, that he understood with whom he had really been dealing:
I ended up with a temperature of 39.7ºC and I started to feel pain, my legs swelling
“, Says the unhappy man.
The next day, Thierry tried somehow to overcome the evil, with painkillers. But 24 hours after the bite, and by the time his leg had become red and swollen (photo to see here), he found it very difficult to hide his pain from the friends with whom he spent the evening. The next morning of this evening, they even worried about his state of health and finally decided to call the firefighters, because Thierry did not answer them: ”
I was so weak that I hadn’t heard the calls. So when help arrived, they rushed me to the hospital
“
Finally, Thierry was hospitalized and had to take a high dose antibiotic. After returning home 48 hours later, he went hunting for the little beast he found in a rolled up rug in his living room. He then understood that he had escaped her beautiful, because if she is not treated quickly and correctly, the bite of a black widow can be fatal …
