Distinctive fingerprints achieved by the young actor Khaled Anwar because of his talent that imposed itself in many works of art, including with the star Adel Imam and the artist Yosra.
In his interview with Al-Arabiya.net, Khaled Anwar talked about his recent experience with Yusra in the betrayal of Ahed series, his artistic start and the most important stations and projects he attends.
You achieved great success in the series “Betrayal of Ahed”, so what are the details of your participation with the superstar Yosra and the reason for your enthusiasm for the work? And your evaluation of the experience?
The experience was more than wonderful. It is fortunate that I have participated in this great work that has many factors that attract any actor to participate in it, on top of which is the cooperation with a star of the size and value of the star Yusra, which anyone is honored to stand before.

As for Hisham’s role, it was very distinctive despite its smallness, as it is the engine of events, and the series in general was a new acting experience for me, and when the series was shown and after it the echoes and reactions of people were very great at all levels and I thank director Sameh Abdel Aziz, who learned a lot from him.
How did the star Yosra help you to embody the role of her son, who is the character “Hisham”?
From the first day of rehearsals and preparation, I felt the mother’s feelings with the artist Yosra, and everyone is comfortable working with her and feels close to her, let alone who will embody the role of her son. She was keen that these feelings be real, and therefore the scenes that brought me together appeared spontaneous and real and reached the audience in the best possible way, so that the audience sympathized with me and was greatly affected by the scene of my death in the work events.
I was reassured while I was acting in front of her, and we really wanted the mother-son relationship to reach the public in the way that we appeared in the series, through the continuous advice and support that was provided to me, and we used to consult before each scene with the director Sameh Abdel Aziz.
What messages do you feel your character at work carried to the audience?
The character of “Hisham” in “Betrayal of Ahed” contains many messages regarding a major problem facing young people at the present time, which is addiction. We proposed the idea and the solution at the same time, and I think that art has a great role in influencing the public towards many problems in society.

And to train for the addiction scenes that I presented in the series, I used psychiatrists and some addiction recoverers, and I also focused on familiarity with the details of the personality, whether in terms of my relationship with my mother or those around me from the family and the society in which I live, and the personality of Hisham is difficult because it carries many internal feelings that were inevitable For the audience to believe it, and it really happened.
Who was most interested in knowing his opinion of your role?
All the opinions that I received about Hisham’s role were positive, whether from those close to me or the public on social media and on the street, and I was very pleased with all these opinions that gave me a strong impetus, and I was interested in the opinions of my family, friends and close associates, and thank God all opinions were positive.
How did your participation in the series “Betrayal of Ahed” affect your artistic career?
I consider this work a big step for me and a shift in my artistic career, and I think that this step will affect my future choices so that I do not choose roles that are less valuable than this one that I have provided, and I was happy to cooperate with all the stars of work, and the backstage between us was more than wonderful.
You collaborated with the leader Adel Imam in the series Hidden Worlds, in addition to your participation with many great stars, so how do you see that and do you consider it luck?
Of course, I was fortunate to have participated with the leader, Adel Imam, for this in itself is a big dream for any artist in the Arab world, even if with one scene. I am happy to cooperate with great stars who have a great artistic history that any artist is honored to stand before them, and I was lucky to also participate in the series “Sukkar Ziada” with the stars and great values, including Nadia Al-Jundi, Nabila Obeid and Samiha Ayoub, and all the stars of the series that I had the pleasure to participate with as well, and he benefited me. Very standing in front of the stars in the level of spread and learning.

Many people do not know information about your artistic beginning and how you developed yourself in acting, so what do you say about this point?
I am a graduate of the Institute of Theatrical Arts, Department of Acting and Directing, and I always try to develop my talent, and I seek to do so by focusing and scrutinizing the choices, and working on presenting new and different roles from each other, and I see a lot of artworks by other stars, and I benefit from them, and I hope that this is my next work. No less than the level at which it appeared in recent works.
Why did your cinematic activity not keep up with the same rate as your TV?
Of course I love cinema and I wish to be in it, but the reason for my cinematic delay compared to drama is that the wheel of cinema production is slow compared to the dramatic wheel, and my stance towards choosing in cinema is the same as for what I choose in drama, according to the scenario and the different role presented to me, even if the elements are integrated and my appearance With any cinematic experience that will benefit me, I certainly accept that, especially since cinema is important for an actor.

In general, with regard to cinema, there is more than one surprise for me, as I finished filming a movie entitled “Bar 6” with the artist Khaled El Sawy and a large number of stars, and I brought another film, “Qamar 14” with the star Khaled Al Nabawi and a group of stars, and this work is a new and different combination, I hope that the audience will see the difference in my role in these two works.
