Hyundai Motor Company (including Genesis) and Kia to conduct “special free New Year inspection service” at service bases nationwide for three days from January 17 (Tuesday) to 19 (Thursday) to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday .
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia have prepared this free inspection service to prevent various accidents by inspecting major parts and functions of vehicles before long-distance driving during the Lunar New Year holiday and to help customers get home safely.
Inspection items include ▲ engine running condition ▲ coolant and oil ▲ brake pads ▲ tire wear and air pressure ▲ various warning lights on, etc. Electric vehicles are subject to additional testing of coolant and high voltage battery systems.
Customers who want to use it need to download a free inspection coupon from each company’s integrated customer service application, such as ▲myHyundai ▲MyKia ▲MYGENESIS, from 12th (Thu) to 13th (Fri) of this month.
Subsequently, Hyundai Motor customers visit 1,282 Blue Hands customers and Kia customers visit 771 AutoQs, present a free MOT and receive a vehicle inspection. (Hyundai Motors/Kia direct service centers not implemented)
A Hyundai Motors and Kia official said, “We’ve prepared a free inspection service to help guide the long-distance ride home during the Lunar New Year, the nation’s biggest holiday.”
