The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) announced on the 27th that “Daudi Okelo (Hyundai Capital) and Lee Jae-young (Heungkuk Life Insurance) were selected as the best male and female players (MVPs) in the 4th round of the’Dodram 2020-2021 V League’.”
Daudi received a total of 17 votes out of 31 press votes, overtaking Kyle Russell (KEPCO, 7 votes) and was honored as the MVP of the fourth round. Lim Dong-hyuk (Korean Air) and Alex Pereira (Woori Card) each received two votes, Ji-Seok Ji (Korean Air), Young-Seok Shin (KEPCO), and Keita Noomori (KB Insurance) each.
He participated in 6 matches in the 4th round, recording 28.67 points per game (total of 172 points), and an attack success rate of 55%, helping the team to rise to 4-2. It was second in scoring and third in total offensive.
Jae-young Lee won a total of 18 out of 31, overtaking Meretta Lutz (GS Caltex), who won 10. Myung-ok Myung-ok (Road Corporation) received 2 votes, and Kelsey Payne (Road Corporation) received 1 vote.
Jaeyoung Lee recorded 26.8 points per game (total 134 points), 42.47% attack success rate, and 0.389 subs per set (1st place) in the 5 games of the 4th round. On the 13th, the Road Construction Competition boasted its power with the highest score of 41 points per individual game.
On the other hand, Daudi’s award will be held at Uijeongbu KB Insurance-Hyundai Capital Exhibition on the 27th, and Lee Jae-young’s award will be held at Suwon Hyundai E&C-Hungkuk Life Exhibition on the 31st.
