Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health mentions DKI Jakarta as the highest contributor to COVID-19 cases in the last few days. Nationwide, daily cases have held above the 1,000-case mark for consecutive days.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, DKI contributed 735 of the total 1,167 daily cases of COVID-19 RI on Sunday (19/6/2022). In addition, DKI also recorded the number of recovered patients as many as 275 cases and 1 case died.

Meanwhile, records from the DKI Health Service stated that there were 10,120 PCR specimen examinations carried out from a total of 8,919 people. Of these tests, 735 positive and 8,184 negative cases were found.

In addition, antigen tests were also carried out on 7,280 people with 258 positive and 7,022 negative results. However, positive antigen test results were not included in the additional case data because all positive cases were reconfirmed by PCR.

DKI daily data has increased compared to the previous day. There were 733 cases recorded on Saturday (18/6) and 686 cases on Friday (17/6).

Meanwhile, of the total positive cases in DKI, there were 1,237,676 patients who were declared cured with a cure rate of 98.4 percent. The total death toll was 15,308 cases with a mortality rate of 1.2 percent, below the national figure of 2.6 percent.

Within a week, DKI’s positivity rate was recorded at 7.6 percent with a total positive case percentage of 11.5 percent. The World Health Organization’s standards set the percentage of positive cases at no more than 5 percent.

Meanwhile, dose 1 vaccination coverage in DKI has reached 12,547,240 people or 124.4 percent, dose 2 as many as 10,717,655 people or 106.3 percent. Meanwhile, the coverage of the third dose of vaccine has reached 3,981,983 people.
