Hungary opened borders for Ukrainians / GORDON

To enter Hungary, the requirements determined by the Schengen Borders Code remain: the presence of a biometric passport or visa, health insurance valid in Europe, financial security.

For those wishing to use air transport, it is necessary to pass a PCR test within 72 hours before the trip. Hungary also recognizes Ukrainian vaccination certificates, so those Ukrainians who have been vaccinated will be exempted from taking PCR tests.

Children under the age of 18 are also exempted from tests if they are traveling with adults who have a vaccination certificate.

For transit through the country, representatives of the Hungarian Border Police may additionally require documents confirming the right to enter the country of destination.
