Hundreds of kilos of coke found between banana puree and medical supplies | Inland

The drugs were hidden in two different containers. One of those containers came from Ecuador and was full of banana puree. The cargo had arrived by seagoing vessel from the Dominican Republic on November 30. It was intended for a company in Switzerland. Customs officers found 26 packages containing cocaine in between the load.

The second container was loaded with medical devices and also from the Dominican Republic. “The cargo was destined for a company in Hoogvliet. In the container, customs officers found 16 sports bags with 395 packages of cocaine ”, according to the OM.

The companies probably have nothing to do with the smuggling.
