Houston-based Barrios Technology, LLC, has secured a significant contract to bolster NASA’s human spaceflight endeavors. The agreement will fuel essential technical integration and a wide array of support services for the agency’s ambitious missions.
Contract Details and Scope of Work
The Mission Technical Integration Contract, valued at an estimated $450 million, will commence on October 1st and extend through September 30th, 2027. It includes provisions for four additional one-year option periods, potentially running until 2031. This contract structure allows for flexibility in project needs.
Under this cost-plus-award-fee and cost-plus-incentive fee agreement, Barrios Technology will deliver critical expertise. Their responsibilities encompass program management, business operations, configuration and data management, IT solutions, systems engineering, mission integration, and safety and mission assurance.
