Human remains found again in American reservoir | Abroad

Lake Mead is a reservoir created when the Hoover Dam dams water from the Colorado River. Due to the extreme drought that the western United States has experienced over the past twenty years, the water in Lake Mead has been subsiding for years. In recent years, things have become so fast that more and more things are floating to the surface, including human remains.

All the bodies were in such a state of decomposition that it was difficult to obtain DNA to identify the remains, according to CNN. One of the bodies found earlier was in an old oil drum. A gunshot wound was also visible in that body, which is why the authorities assume that it is a murder. The other bodies could also belong to people who drowned in the lake in the past, but further investigation is needed.
