Liputan6.com, Bangkok Huawei stated that they are still confident to remain a key player in the technology industry with their products, especially after the sanctions imposed by the United States (US).
This was stated by Cheng Jiangfei, Vice Department Head of MKT, Huawei Consumer Business Group, Asia Pacific Region in his exclusive press conference in Bangkok, Thailand last Wednesday (27/7/2022).
“We have never lost our true self-confidence. We are one of the key players globally,” Jiangfei said in answer to a question Techno Liputan6.com.
Jiangfei said, with a massive investment to research and development (Research and Development/RnD) is done, the company can overcome these challenges.
“So we invested heavily to tackle this issue, and we believe we will come back, come back stronger.”
Furthermore, Huawei also recognizes that building an ecosystem for their devices is something important. Therefore, it is important to introduce this to consumers.
“For consumers, we still have a lot of homework,” said Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei Device Indonesia. “We still have to continue to educate consistently.”
Even so, in terms of partnerships, according to Edy, there are already many partners who understand and accept the existence of the ecosystem that Huawei is building.
“Many partners have been educated and have started to open the door for us to work together more closely,” said Edy.
“This is not something that can be solved overnight. So we will continuously and consistently continue to introduce, inform, about our ecosystem to the public,” he added.
Edy also considered that the existence of this ecosystem is very important because it becomes the foundation for sales and products that will be launched by the company technology company that’s the front.
