BEIJING, iNews.id – Huawei has issued the Kirin 9000 which comes with two variants, the Kirin 9000 and 9000E. Now, a leaker has provided details about the company’s latest flagship processor, Kirin 9010.
Information about the Kirin processor comes from leaker @ RODENT950. According to his upload, the next generation Kirin processor will be the Kirin 9010 and has a 3nm manufacturing process, as quoted from GSM Arena, Saturday (2/1/2021).
The Kirin 9000 was launched as the first 5nm processor for Android devices and after its announcement came the Samsung Exynos 1080 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. While most people would expect Huawei to stick to the 5nm process for at least two years.
Making the jump to 3nm for the next mobile chipset, it will be this year if all goes according to plan. A new chipset is likely to appear in the Mate 50 series in the fourth quarter.
