TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Huawei again presenting a new tablet specifically for children, the Huawei Matepad T8 Kids Edition, after last June the release of the Huawei MatePad T10 Kids. This latest tablet, in appearance is the same as before, only it has a higher screen-to-body ratio, which is 80 percent.
“It’s only different in terms of dimensions, it’s more compact and easy to carry everywhere,” said Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei CBG Indonesia, in a virtual event, Friday, September 17, 2021.
Screen size tablet It is 8 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and an ultra thin bezel measuring 4.9 millimeters. Huawei also provides the tablet with a stylus pen and a case that is specially designed for children and uses food grade materials that are safe if bitten by children and a special case.
It includes a special feature called Kids Corner, a smart feature that supports parents to manage their children’s use of gadgets, and at the same time manages children’s behavior in using gadgets with parental control features.
Through this feature, said Edy, parents can see the use of the application and can set time limits on the use of gadgets for their children. “So that children can continue to learn and express their creativity,” he said.
Kids Corner also has various features, such as Recorder, Camera, Kids Painting and Multimedia that allow parents to share photos and videos with their children. In addition, it is also equipped with an eye protection feature that is certified by TUV Rheinland Certified Eye Comfort to maintain eye health in children.
With a blue light filter, this tablet can effectively filter out harmful blue light and prevent eye fatigue after prolonged use of the tablet. “So it is believed to be the best choice for the family,” said Edy.
