In the first contribution to the Huawei press conference, I would like to go into the MatePad Pro.

I take the liberty of tackling a slightly different order of the products presented. Since I am personally interested in the foldable smartphones (from a technical point of view), I still simply believe that we still need one, two, if not three, generations to get to a mass-market technology. The built-in IPS display fills the front up to 90 percent (screen-to-body ratio). With its 540 nits, it should be particularly bright and also make it easier to use outdoors.
In terms of sound technology, the Chinese in turn rely on technology from Harman Kardon. A company that has belonged to the big rival Samsung since 2017.
Something I care for iPad Pro 12.9 ″ would also like is reverse charging. The built-in 7’250 mAh battery can charge other gadgets. To do this, simply place the MatePad Pro on the desk, bedside table or in the hotel next to the bed and place your smartphone on it. This is already charging via wireless charging. I think that’s a really cool feature.

The Huawei MatePad Pro will also be available in Switzerland by May 2020. The smaller model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage comes at an RRP of CHF 549.-.
