Huawei climbed 42 places in the ranking “The 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2020” – La Razón

NEXT-IMAGE is the world’s largest photo and video contest, and last year it received over 520,000 entries.

This year, Huawei, the leading global technology company, invites its community of millions of users to create and share their most inspiring images at NEXT-IMAGE 2020, the world’s largest smartphone photo and video contest. The categories in which they can participate are: Portrait, Different Perspectives, Sequences with History, Night Photography, Short Films and Daily Photography.

Valentina Cuadros Biggemann, semi-finalist at NEXT-IMAGE 2018, shares her experience in order to motivate Huawei users to participate in the call.

Valentina Cuadros Biggemann, finalist of NEXT-IMAGE 2018, participated in the category “Faces” Capturing a photo with his Huawei P9 Lite, and he was a finalist in the contest, getting his photography to be exhibited in the Paris gallery.

“I found out about the contest because I follow Huawei on their social networks, and I saw that they published the call and I just dared to participate. Coincidentally, the photography that I sent as my work was for a photography assignment from my university, and it fit perfectly with the theme of the category. I really liked how this photograph portrayed a different hue from the others, ”says Valentina.

The contest will recognize three winners with the grand prize, which consists of a $ 10,000 Next-Image creation fund, a HUAWEI P40 Pro smartphone (8 + 256GB) and an electronic certificate. By category there will be 15 winners, who will be awarded a fund for the creation of Next-Image worth 1,000 USD, a HUAWEI P40 Pro smartphone (8 + 256GB) and an electronic certificate. And the 50 finalists will be given a HUAWEI P40 Pro smartphone (8 + 256GB) and an electronic certificate.

“I hope that people are encouraged to participate in this call, that they experiment, that they do not stay in their comfort zone and that they are not afraid of making mistakes. Contests like these allow you to expand your mind a little, and it really is a great opportunity to challenge ourselves, ”adds Valentina.

In parallel, the Huawei P40 Series has been recognized by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) as the series that offers the best smartphones for photography of 2020, which makes these three flagship devices (Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro + ) in the ideal option to capture the best moments.

The deadline to send photos taken with a Huawei smartphone is July 31, 2020
