The attempt of the “favorites” from the official cabinet – Kiril Petkov of the economy and Asen Vassilev of the finances, to be attracted to “Democratic Bulgaria” for the early elections coming in the autumn is started by the leader of the DB Hristo Ivanov.

Of course, I would vote for people like Asen Vassilev and Kiril Petkov. Whether they will participate in such a project remains to be seen. I would join any project that works for Bulgaria. Labels should be ignored. It is time for personalization not to take the lead in political speech. Parties are an association of people with the same thoughts and goals. They do not belong to one personsaid Yanev.
With the failure of two parliaments that have not formed a government, the parties themselves are repelling the people and allowing new strong political projects to emerge, the prime minister explained.

Assen Vassilev is already talking about his participation in such a project, albeit evasively. And he, with the stipulation that he is currently Minister of Finance and will make decisions for the future after he ceases to be in office.
We have been talking with Minister Petkov on many topics, we have been friends for 15 years. I see sense in the country continuing to develop in the direction that has been set in the last few months. This, in the best way to do it, cannot be done with the click of a finger for a day, for two, for three. You have to think very carefully. This is a very heavy responsibility, if it will be taken at all. I can’t say today or tomorrow – yes, I do something or I don’t, I don’t. When I’m ready, when I’ve made a decision, when we’ve considered whether such a thing would make sense to do, if it could happen and how, be sure to say, Vassilev commented yesterday on his plans for a joint political project together with Kiril Petkov.
