HP 5G and Smart Realme TV Will Soon Be Sold in Indonesia

Suara.com – Realme plans to bring a number of smart devices in the second half of 2020, from the HP 5G to the latest AIoT (a combination of AI and IoT) line of devices, smart tv.

“Many people are asking when Realme will bring a 5G smartphone. We will bring a smartphone with 5G connectivity in Indonesia,” Marketing Director of Realme Indonesia, Palson Yi, in a virtual conference, Friday (7/17/2020)

In an effort to bring the 5G cellphone, Palson said that it had collaborated with a chipset provider and would collaborate with several stakeholders, such as cellular service providers.

“Realme is a brand that promotes collaboration to develop the best technological ecosystem in Indonesia. Realme is also ready as an advisor for the Indonesian government to develop 5G connections throughout Indonesia,” said Palson.

In addition to smart phones, Realme will also present the latest product categories from the AIoT device line, namely smart tv, which according to Palson also has the same philosophy as the smart phone line, which is a combination of trendsetting technology and trendsetting design.

“Realme will launch various AIoT products that will complement the lifestyle of young people. One more AIoT sector is smart tv in the second half of 2020,” said Palson.

Furthermore, Palson saw that the potential of internet-connected devices (IoT) in Indonesia was quite large, so that Realme dared to develop the AIoT ecosystem in Indonesia.

“We have become the number 2 AIoT product brand at Shopee at the end of June. This is our reason for continuing to produce AIoT products in Indonesia,” he said.

With the number of connected devices estimated to have penetrated 125 billion US dollars by the end of 2020 from nearly 27 billion in 2017, according to Palson, the current impact of IoT on consumer products has changed from hype to reality.

“The AIoT device from Realme is one of our big visions until the end of the year. For the operating system, our RnD team is working hard to realize the best technology for our consumers,” said Palson. (Among]
