The billion user app lives on a date with a revolutionary update that will be released in the coming days, according to the British newspaper “Express”.
According to the newspaper, the upcoming update will make the app a strong contender for Zoom, FaceTime and House Party applications.
These applications also allow a large group of people to communicate with audio and video in high quality, while conference calls in WhatsApp are limited to only four individuals.
With its new update, WhatsApp is expected to raise the maximum number of people participating in group video calls, while the total number has not yet been revealed.
It is also possible that the update is only available for iPhone users, and for Android users to arrive in the future.
The WhatsApp app is primarily a widely used text messaging app with more than two billion users worldwide, the app made voice and video calls two years ago, and always maintains a maximum of 4 users, which is much lower than what some competitors offer.
