Car incentives: all discounts and bonuses for the purchase of new cars are starting today. All the details on how to use it

The car incentives they have officially left. And the 1st August, the date expected by all motorists eager to change cars and ready to take advantage of the bonus entered by government in Relaunch Decree. No interest to dealers, though, because the discounts will have validity until the next December 31st. All variants can therefore be considered calmly to choose the best new car and, above all, with what power supply.

I fundshowever, at the moment I am limited. The government has in fact allocated so far 50 million euros and, upon exhaustion of this amount, the bonus will no longer be available. The executive, however, is working to increase economic availability, with the aim of reaching up to € 1 billion. At the moment, however, they are only hypotheses.

Car incentives: the calculation of the bonus

I bonus are calculated on the basis of emissions of carbon dioxide (Co2) and I’m three the bands into which the cars are divided. From 0 a 20 g/km; this range includes plug-in hybrid and electric cars with the car that cannot have a price higher than 61,000 euros including VAT. Well 10,000 euro bonus with scrapping of vehicles for at least 10 years, otherwise the incentive will drop to 6,000 euros.

Second band goes by 21 g/km a 60 and is reserved for plug-in and hybrid hybrids; the discount is of 6,500 euros with scrapping, which drops to 3,500 without. In third bandinstead, the cars that can take advantage of the discount must have emissions between 70 ed i 110 g/km. This category also includes cars with a thermal engine that are at least Euro 6 and do not exceed the price of 40,000 VAT excluded. In this case the bonus is much lower; are 3,500 euros in case of scrapping, 1,750 without.

Incentives also valid for used vehicles

Good news also for those who want to buy a used vehicle. The government has indeed introduced some incentives also regarding this category of vehicles; also in this case, the incentive applies only to vehicles not less than Euro 6 they have emissions not exceeding 60g / km. It will, however, be mandatory scrapped a vehicle between Euro 0 ed Euro 3. In this case there will be a reduction in the price of the transfer of ownership, with a 60% discount.
