Because, around 17.3 million people died due to heart and blood vessel problems. In East Java, cases of death from heart and blood vessel disease are also quite high. Nationally, East Java is even ranked in the top two in Indonesia.

The condition is not much different from Pasuruan Regency. Chief of Cardiac Medical Staff at Bangil Hospital, Dr. David Rubiyaktho, Sp.JP. explained, heart disease is a health problem that is quite high in Pasuruan Regency. This disease occupies the top three in health services.

Patients at Bangil Hospital, for example. Every day, there are 50 to 70 heart disease patients who are hospitalized. That’s the amount during this pandemic. Before the pandemic, the number of patients was even higher. Can be 100 people, even 150 people per day.

“That shows a worrying thing. And, it becomes an important signal in maintaining heart health,” said the alumnus of Universitas Brawijaya Malang.

Many types of heart disease that can whack. There are heart failure, heart valve problems, congenital heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, and the most common is coronary heart disease.

Doctor David explained, coronary heart disease is often caused by narrowing of blood vessels due to bad fats or LDL. This has an impact on the lack of oxygen and food intake for the heart. Such a situation is clearly dangerous. Can lead to death for the sufferer. Including, the risk of sudden death.
