Being new to Snapchat, I’m always learning new things with the app. I recently sent a message to my friend Tick Thank you and noticed my profile picture was a cowboy. I know I must have picked that image, most likely by accident, but I certainly couldn’t remember. This got me thinking about how to change my profile picture to something else. Also, it would be nice to show all my readers how to do it too. So, after many hours of research, it was time to write my article to help you change your profile picture to reflect who you are (maybe a cowboy 🙂 ).
How to change Snapchat profile picture
I’m going to show you how to do that on my Samsung Galaxy A20 Android phone:
Step 1: Start your Android device and search for the Snapchat apartment Tip It.
Step 2: Once in your Snapchat account, look for yours in the top left Profile Image. You have to tap it.
Step 3: This will take you to Profile Screen. Here you need to look for that in the top right equipment Symbol. Tip It.
Step 4: Now that we’re on the ideas screen, we will want to search Bitmoji. This is what Snapchat calls the profile picture. Tip It.
Step 5: Here you can see your profile picture and below that some choices.
- change clothes
- Edit my Bitmoji
- Choose a selfie
You can change the outfit of your profile picture, which is pretty fun. According to my little girl, it’s a bit like puppetry. Tap the outfit you want. Once you’ve done that, tap Save on computer option at top right.
I also found that you can get to all editing options, including your outfit, by going to Edit mine Bitmoji. Tip It.
step 6 Here you can change your hair, eyes, hats, outfits, facial hair (everyone needs a beard), color and more. These options are at the bottom of the screen you would have seen when choosing your new outfit. All you have to do is swipe left or right at the bottom of the screen to find more options. Tap the option you want to work on. When you are happy with all the changes, tap Save on computer button at top right. Ready!
Step 7: Now that you’ve created one Image that reflects your personality, let’s look at another option. Select the selfie option from step 5, Bitmoji’s main screen – tap on it. On the Choose a selfie Screen you can choose as your Bitmoji appears on Snapchat. Tap the one you like and then tap the done button at the bottom of the screen.
You have now set everything the way you want it Snapchat. It’s time to get out there and start messaging all yours friends to show off the new look.
