How They Love in Different Countries

They say that love knows no boundaries, and it is not easy to find a place on Earth where there would be a territory free of love – unless you take a trip to the Vatican, of course. We decided to find out how people in different countries express their feelings, treat sex, and build relationships. Some say that France is the most romantic and passionate place on Earth. But is that completely true? Let’s check out different points of view.

  1. England

Over in England, where the weather is seemingly always dull and wet even deep into the summer months, the people have an eye for discovering passionate romantic connections, and when they do, the people there love truly and wholeheartedly.

In England, both men and women do all they can for their significant others, and successful teamwork is a cornerstone for most successful relationships. Where men may have the Lionshare of tasks related to bringing in the money to support the relationship, women come into their own light, maintaining the home, caring for the family, and looking to improve their situation at all times. English people are usually all for showing off their partners online, and once a partner has met their love interest’s parents, the deal is sealed for the long-term.

  1. France

In the place that birthed the city of love and has an international kiss named after it, it’s safe to say that French people are a cut above the rest of us when it comes to loving their partners and going the extra mile to maintain a strong, loving connection. In France, couples place much more importance on intimacy and deeper connections, meaning more dates and romantic evenings out can be observed here than anywhere else in the world. The narrow Paris streets have seen millions of lustful French kisses, with love in the air everywhere you turn, with hundreds of romantic destinations easily in all locations.

  1. Germany

Starkly opposing the traditional practices of the French, love in Germany is much more subtle and none-expressive. Granted, you’ll see the occasional PDA on your travels around German cities, but nothing like you do over in France and Italy.

Germans much enjoy planning fewer romantic evenings out for the months ahead, focusing their attention and efforts on one single occasion each month and putting their all into these occasions rather than going out all the time and starting to get bored. It’s very common for both German men and women to know what they’re doing in a month from now. Germans are very forward in love and like to leave nothing to chance!

  1. Sweden

Largely opposing the traditional ways of the Western world, Swedes buck the trend in relationships, with very few of them casually dating. Virtually all the couples you see out and about in Sweden are serious. In Sweden, one-night stands are common, and people are very open about discussing their activities in the bedroom with others.

It can be said that Swedish couples have fewer arguments with their partners, and when they do, they’re quickly resolved as Swede’s hate to talk over each other, largely decreasing the likelihood of a shouting match.

  1. Italy

Italy is known worldwide as the most romantic place on Earth, where couples strive to please each other and keep things fresh as often as possible. Italians largely enjoy being close to their partners, enjoying romantic cuddles and intimate touches frequently. Italians take great pride in their partners, showing them off as often as possible, both online and face to face. It’s not uncommon for Italians to carry a picture of their lover with them in a purse or wallet to show to new people they meet. Sweet!

  1. Japan

Across Japan, one of the largest Asian countries in the world, traditional love is expressed not through affectionate words and promises but with actions instead. Japanese lovers much prefer to show their love with all manner of kind gestures, sacrifices, and caring actions rather than composing love notes and well-thought-out messages. Unlike most other countries, infidelity levels amongst Japanese people are extremely low, with society largely valuing morals and loyalty above all else.

  1. Australia

Australians show their love to their significant others in a large variety of ways, with no main method being more favorable than the other. Traditionally, Aussies love to be surrounded by the great outdoors, appreciating the beauty of their unmistakable island. As such, this is brought through to relationships, with people showing their love by showing off their beautiful partners with lots of public hugs, kisses, and affection.

  1. America

Largely being a country full of many unique cultures, Americans combine the practices of European countries and Australia to show love to their partners. Both American men and women have been known to create love letters, songs, messages, and all the other verbal mediums of expressing their affection. Separate from verbally expressing their feelings and emotions, American people are big on kissing, cuddling, and sharing intimacy. The term “I Love You” is said in America more than anywhere else, although divorce statistics rival most countries too.

Now that you know the different ways people around the world show their love and affection to their partners, you can use this information to your advantage when you meet people nearby or on online dating sites living in other countries!
