How many WhatsApp messages have I already sent? If you’re wondering, we’ve got the answer for you – you’ll know in just a few clicks.

Hanover – Around two billion consumers worldwide use the messenger “WhatsApp” every month – making the application one of the most popular apps in the world. Also in Deutschland. In the meantime, you can no longer just send simple messages, but also images, videos, documents and voice messages via Messenger – and even create surveys and so-called “communities”.

But have you ever wondered How actively do you actually use the app? With just a few clicks you can find out how many messages you have already sent via WhatsApp.

For iOS users: How do I see how many messages I’ve sent on WhatsApp?

These chat stats are easy to see for both iOS users and Android users. If you are using an iPhone, all you have to do on WhatsApp is click on the “Settings” button – next to the “Chats” button. There you select the option “Storage and data” and then open the item “Network usage”. Under the “Messages” tab you can now see all sent and received messages that you have ever sent – at least if you have never reset the statistics in your time of WhatsApp use. By the way, at the end of 2022, WhatsApp introduced a new function that many users have been waiting for for a long time.

Statistics at WhatsApp for Android users: You have already sent and received so many messages

Android users must of course also first open WhatsApp for the statistics and then click on the three menu items at the top right edge of the display. From there, select the “Settings” option and click on “Data Usage”. The “Network Usage” item should also be visible here, where you can see exactly how many messages you have already sent and received.

Very active users could find a high number at this point, because for many people, WhatsApp has become an integral part of everyday life. This news could be a shock for such users in particular: the messenger no longer provides support for some cell phone models, which amounts to the end of the app on the respective devices.
