How many cases of coronavirus are there in Miami, Hialeah, and each Miami-Dade city? | Univision 23 Miami WLTV

The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) reported Friday that Miami-Dade reached 6,487 cases of people with coronavirus, being, by far, the county with the most infections in Florida. Broward followed with 2,806.

According to the US Census Bureau, as of July 2019, it is estimated that in Miami-Dade there is a population of 2,716,940. In the county, until the last report, the coronavirus 35,626 people, and of these, 29,000 have tested negative.

The ages of infected with covid-19 in the county, according to the FDOH, they range from 0 to 103 years, and the average age is 48 years. Of the confirmed cases, 3,370 are men, and 3,043 women.

According to the Florida Department of Health, 517 people have been hospitalized for coronavirus in Miami-Dade and 91 have lost their lives.

The county cities with the most cases are Miami, Hialeah, Miami Beach, Homestead and Miami Gardens.
