The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron announced Tuesday, November 24, the extension of the distance limit for travel for walks or physical activity. From Saturday November 28, it will be possible to exercise within a radius of 20 kilometers for three hours.

Several tools exist to calculate the radius in which it will be possible to go from November 28. We find for example that ofESRI , CovidRadius, where the Geoportal of the IGN which allows a more detailed analysis by calculating the distances not as the crow flies but according to the road axes. Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain)
Around Bourg-en-Bresse, the widening of the limit to 20 kilometers will allow you to walk in the northern part of Dombes, the south of Bresse or in Revermont.

Mills (Allier)
Around Moulins, the new limit of 20 kilometers will allow you to escape to Souvigny, to Noyant-d’Allier or along the Allier to Châtel-de-Neuvre. To the north, it even allows you to go beyond the limit of the Allier department to venture into the south of Nièvre.

Privas (Ardèche)
Around Privas, the possibilities for walks extend with the new limit of 20 kilometers. The circle now extends to the gates of Aubenas and Montélimar. To the east, it is now possible to go as far as the Rhône valley, at the edge of the Drôme. To the north, you will have to stop a few kilometers before the Cheylard.

Aurillac (Cantal)
Around Aurillac, the new confinement rules open the doors to the mountain with possible escapades in the Jordanne valley, near Saint-Projet-de-Salers or Vic-sur-Cère. To the west, the lake of Saint-Etienne-Cantalès becomes accessible, as does a good part of the Châtaigneraie.

Valence (Drôme)
Around Valence, the possibilities for walking are expanding. Along the Rhône valley, it will be possible to go from Tournon-sur-Rhône (in the north) to Livron-sur-Drôme (in the south). To the east, the limit is located on the foothills of the Vercors massif. On the Ardèche side, it will be possible to climb to the surroundings of Alboussière.

Grenoble (Isere)
Around Grenoble, the new 20-kilometer limit will make people happy. It opens doors to the Chartreuse massifs (as far as Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse), the Vercors (as far as Villard-de-Lans) and the Belledonne massif (as far as Chamrousse).

Saint-Etienne (Loire)
Around Saint-Etienne, the possibilities for walking now extend beyond Andrézieux-Bouthéon, Firminy and almost as far as Rive-de-Gier. Walks in the Parc du Pilat also become possible.

Le-Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire)
Around Puy-en-Velay, walks can now be considered in a circle that goes as far as Yssingeaux, at the edge of the Ardèche and at the Fix-Saint-Geneys pass. Lake Bouchet and a small part of the upper Allier valley are also in the authorized zone.

Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dome)
Around Clermont-Ferrand, the new 20-kilometer limit will allow Clermontois to find the Puys chain, its volcanoes and some of its lakes such as that of Aydat. For those who prefer the plain, part of Limagne becomes accessible again. To the south, a visit to the charming village of Montpeyroux becomes possible. To the north, the surroundings of Riom and Châtel-Guyon are included in the authorized zone.

Lyon (Rhône)
Around Lyon, the 20 kilometer limit will allow those who wish to move away from the city. The Val de Saône and the Monts d’Or will become accessible, as will the eastern part of the Monts du Lyonnais. To the south, you can push to Givors and to the east, to the Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport.

Chambery (Savoie)
Around Chambéry, the limit increased to 20 kilometers allows you to consider escapades to Aix-les-Bains, along the Bourget lake, to the Aiguebelette lake, in part of the Bauges massif and even in the regional natural park de Chartreuse near Saint-Pierre-d’Entremont.

Annecy (Haute-Savoie)
20 kilometers around Annecy, this allows you to go all around the lake, but also to go to the Semnoz massif, in part of the Bauges massif or that of Bornes. It will be possible to push to Aravis around Thônes. To the west, the limit will be that of the Savoie department, beyond Rumilly.
