Deadpool is one of the most interesting mutants within the Marvel world and also one of the most popular, thanks to his ability to break the fourth wall and always have a wild but funny comment to share.
This led to him earning a place in 20th Century Fox’s Marvel movie universe, alongside other members of the X-Men such as Wolverine, Cyclops, and Colossus.
First in the infamous movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine and then with the two solo films of the loudmouth mercenary, all starring Ryan Reynolds.
Despite being such a well-known character within the Marvel universe, there are still certain aspects of him that are kept secret and are revealed dropwise in the comics.
For example, Deadpool has a daughter named Ellie Camacho, who is a powerful heroine who lived until 2099 (or at least that is what is known).
Another detail that few know about Wade Wilson is that he always has a weapon close by to take out the bad guys, no matter in what corner of the world he is, which makes him an almost perfect mercenary.
In fact, this is considered a super power in itself, because nobody knows where it keeps so many different weapons, since it seems that it has bullets to destroy an entire country.
Of course, in the movies this aspect was played around a bit, as Wade forgot his weapons all the time, even before the final battle against Ajax.
To satisfy our curiosity, the comics have just revealed how Deadpool can have so many weapons on hand, no matter where he visits or when.
In Deadpool Nerdy 30 #1 the three decades of existence of the largemouth mercenary are celebrated, so the whole number is divided into different stories about his life.
Those adventures include one where he “rescues” a chemist in Nicaragua and lies to him about turning him over to the CIA to be put into the witness protection system.
In the end, Wade arrives at a closed ice cream parlor. Deadpool explains to the subject that this chain of stores is everywhere, so he hides a lot of weapons in all the branches; thus, when he travels anywhere, he visits the nearest dessert shop to arm himself to the teeth.
This explanation is, by all accounts, quite ingenious and has a lot of logic, since no one would suspect an ice cream parlor as a place where firearms are kept; Kind of like the laundromat Walter White worked at in Breaking Bad.
