A Bavarian Edeka market landed a real viral hit in two respects with a post about alleged vaccination chips. The joke at the expense of the conspiracy theorists was so well received that it was shared far beyond the Edeka Schöffel community. Actually, store manager Michael Wollny just wanted to end the old year with a little joke. But this joke was so well received by the public that he had to lay down his arms a few days later and has not answered any media inquiries since.
