“Houston, we have a problem,” or as security from the NASA space center told me

I really want to recommend everyone to visit this wonderful place. Thirty euros is a small investment for the joy that “space geeks” can have here. But, of course, it should be borne in mind that the space center is located “somewhere in Texas”, a place where one does not arrive by chance. However, if you happen to be near Houston, don’t miss it. It’s very impressive. Especially at night. Because it’s good to say after you’ve been kicked out of the space center by security!

I had pre-planned the space center tour, but “breaking” into the darkness was a spontaneous idea. I was lucky enough to stay in a hotel just across from the space center and could see the exhibits lit up from my room window. I realized that I had to go see it, even though the museum was already closed. I could not find a pedestrian path, but nothing prevented me from entering the territory along the roadway.

Sure, I couldn’t go all the way in, but I could stick my phone through the fence to take a picture of the “Falcon” missile. It’s a pretty impressive device. Watching videos of these rockets learning to take off and land doesn’t really give you an idea of their size. So seeing it in real life is a bit of a shock. That burning pillar is almost fifty meters long! And the grilled “shoulders” are gigantic. I can’t really see the engines in the dark – they will surprise me tomorrow.
