Our review of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, but one thing is certain: we want more. And Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco know that, because whoever finishes the game will see the trailer for part three: House of Ashes! You will find it below with a description and some screenshots:
With the conflict in Iraq coming to an end in 2003, CIA field operative Rachel King joins an elite military unit in a raid on a suspected underground chemical weapons facility in the shadow of the Zagros Mountains.
At the coordinates, the unit is ambushed by a local patrol led by Sergeant Salim Othman. During the battle, an earthquake opens sinkholes in the ground, sending both sides into the ruins of a buried Sumerian temple. In the darkness under the Arabian desert, something evil is awakened. A nest of old and unearthly creatures is fierce and has new prey to hunt.
As the survivors try to navigate the underworld and escape the terrifying threat, they are faced with horrific discoveries and impossible decisions. Will they each prioritize their own survival or will they put aside their fears and personal rivalries to fight together as one?
The first two The Dark Pictures Anthology-games, Man of Medan & Little Hope, are available now. The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes will be released next year on current (PlayStation 4, Xbox One), and new generation (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or S) consoles and PC.
