‘Hot Wheels Unleashed’ available on early access

Mattel, Inc. e Milestone, a leading global racing game developer, today launched ‘Hot Wheels Unleashed‘. The action-packed arcade-style racing experience is now available to those who pre-ordered the Hot Wheels Unleashed Ultimate Stunt Edition.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will be available to racing fans worldwide on Sept. 30 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

Racers can finally slide, push, jump and crash on iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks with jaw-dropping details. The game features unique single player modes, including Hot Wheels City Rumble, where players must win races, time trial challenges, complete special challenges and defeat bosses to expand their collection with unique cars and track pieces.

Players can also challenge their friends in multiplayer races of up to 12 players online (including cross-play on consoles of the same family) and two players offline with split-screen mode.

The entry-line list features 66 vehicles, including the most famous original Hot Wheels designs from the brand’s 53-year history such as Boneshaker™, Rodger Dodger™ and Twin Mill™, pop culture automotive icons such as DC™ Batmobile, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon, Peanuts Snoopy, Universal Pictures Time Machine and Amblin Entertainment Back to the Future, NBC Knight Rider KITT and OEMs including Audi, Ford, Honda and many others.

Each vehicle has specialized attributes and rarity levels that players can upgrade. Original and OEM Hot Wheels designs can also be customized with unique paints through the Design Editor, where players can also upload their creations or download designs from the community.

Hot Wheels Unleashed features six environments, each with its own immersive playground and unique style: Garage, Skyscraper, College Campus, Skate Park, Track Room (a special stage designed specifically to showcase the freedom of the Game Editor role). Clues) and the Cave, a customizable space where players can rearrange furniture and accessories with hundreds of customization options.

The Track Editor is a unique feature that Milestone’s designers used to create the game’s tracks and allows players to create infinite variations of tracks through different Track Editor modules. More than 20 modules are available at launch, such as T-Rex Escape, Spider Ambush and Hungry Cobra. Track Editor also gives players the opportunity to share creations from the game or download and enjoy tracks created by other players.

Keeping the competition fresh, the ongoing content plan for Hot Wheels Unleashed will include more vehicles from iconic brands such as Street Fighter™, Masters of the Universe™, DC, Barbie™, along with OEMs with a racing history such as Aston Martin., BMW and McLaren™.

Free and premium DLCs will be released periodically with unique themed vehicles, track building modules, customization items and expansion sets that feature new environments. Players will also have the opportunity to enter Racing Seasons, limited time challenges with new vehicles and special rewards.

HOT WHEELS Pass Vol. 1 includes ten vehicles, three customization packs and three track building modules and HOT WHEELS – Batman Expansion. Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 passes will be announced later.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is available today with early access and will be released globally on September 30, 2021 on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
