Gasoline at gas stations in Bulgaria for the past one month has become cheaper by 13 cents per liter (-3.82 percent) with a downward trend. This is shown by the data of the “Fuelo” platform, BTA reports. If on July 12, A95 gasoline was sold for BGN 3.40 per liter, today, August 11, its average price is already BGN 3.27 per liter. Today, the prices at the various gas station chains in our country vary between BGN 3.07 and BGN 3.33 per liter.

The average price of diesel for the last month has decreased by 14 cents per liter (-3.94 percent) – also with a tendency to become cheaper. On July 12, a liter of this type of fuel was traded for BGN 3.55, while today the average price is BGN 3.41 per liter, according to the data of “Fuelo”. Today, diesel is sold between BGN 3.18 and BGN 3.48 per liter at various gas stations.

For the considered one-month period, a 10.64 percent or 15 cents per liter drop in propane butane prices is reported. On July 12, it cost BGN 1.41 per liter, while it is currently BGN 1.26 per liter. Prices at individual gas stations in the country today vary between BGN 1.16 and BGN 1.30 per liter.

For the past month, the price of methane has increased by BGN 1.68/kg (46.15 percent) with a tendency to increase prices, the data of “Fuelo” also show. On July 12, methane at gas stations in the country cost BGN 3.64 per kilogram, and now it is sold for an average of BGN 5.32 per kilogram. The platform indicates for today in Bulgaria a price range of BGN 3.72-6.06 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, U.S. gasoline prices fell just below $4 a gallon for the first time in more than five months, good news for consumers facing price hikes for many other commodities from of paramount importance, the Associated Press reported.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) reported that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline today is $3.99. Values ​​are down 15 cents in the past week and 68 cents in the past month, according to the association’s data.

According to calculations by “Fuelo” in the USA today, the average price of gasoline is BGN 2.06 per liter, and diesel – BGN 2.71 per liter.

The platform’s data show that today the cheapest gasoline in the world at gas stations in Russia is BGN 1.56 per liter, and the most expensive in Iceland is BGN 4.50 per liter. The same tendency is observed in the average prices of diesel: Russians pay the least – 1.62 BGN per liter, and Icelanders buy it for 4.46 BGN per liter.

In the European Union, the cheapest gasoline is in Malta – BGN 2.62 per liter, and the most expensive in Finland – BGN 4.24 per liter. And the Maltese pay the least for diesel – BGN 2.36 per liter, while the Finns buy it at gas stations at an average price of BGN 4.20 per liter.

Oil prices fell this morning in Asian trade amid investor concerns that more black gold will appear on the market, but with weaker demand, Reuters reported.

North Sea Brent futures, Europe’s benchmark, fell 53 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $96.87 a barrel. U.S. light crude lost 61 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $91.32 a barrel.
