The horror story takes place in Texas, United States (US). Because dozens of corpses migrant found in and around a tractor-trailer.
As reported by AFP, Tuesday (28/6/2022), a trailer-tractor is known to be abandoned on the side of the road in San Antonio.
“Currently we have processed about 46 bodies that were triaged and tagged and declared dead,” San Antonio Fire Service Chief Charles Hood told reporters.
This gruesome find is rated as one of the worst disasters involving migrant in the US in recent years. Moreover, it comes five years after a similar incident in the same city, which is just hours from the Mexican border.
Hood added that another 16 migrants were taken to local hospitals. The 16 migrants are said to be alive and still conscious.
The migrants who survived consisted of 12 migrant adults and four migrant children.
