Horizon Zero Dawn on PC releases new patch, but does not fix its main problems

Horizon Zero Dawn one of the most recognized titles in Playstation 4, left a few days ago PCHowever, the port developed by Guerrilla and 505 Games It has not been what the fans expected, and has had several performance problems.

Guerrilla recently issued a statement informing the community of PC that they would be seeing the problems and looking for solutions soon, and today after a few days the first patch has been released for version 1.01 of Horizon Zero Dawn.

However, this first patch has not fixed the underlying problems of Sttutering that the title has been having and even, players have begun to report different ones caused by this new patch.

According to some users, their save files from Horizon Zero Dawn, they have been completely removed with the patch, and others have reported that they have started experiencing app crashes, but did not have them prior to the patch.

Regarding the fixes that have reached this version 1.01 of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, this is the list:

• Fixed an issue where the game could crash if the Steam interface did not launch properly during the first load.
• Fixed an issue where Focus and other mechanics to reduce time were not working for all players.
• Fixed an issue where Windows / Steam profile names containing special characters would prevent some players from saving their game. We continue to investigate issues related to this.
• Fixed an issue where Windows / Steam profile names containing special characters prevented some players from saving images captured from Photo Mode.
• Added better information gathering when reporting a bug in the game.
• Fixed various backend issues.
• Fixed a video corruption issue for certain hardware. We continue to look at other hardware configurations.

The company has made it clear that they will continue to investigate the Horizon Zero Dawn on PC and will have a new update next week, hopefully it will reduce the performance problems that the title currently has.

Horizon Zero Dawn is available on the platforms of Playstation 4 and PC.
