Horizon: Forbidden West will (surprise) also come out on PS4

The evening dedicated to news has just ended PS5, with the announcement of date and price of the console to be released in November worldwide (although in Europe it will be released a few days after the American and Japanese release).

Big absent of the evening, however, was Aloy’s second adventure, Horizon: Forbidden West, although it has now been surprisingly announced that both the Guerrilla Games game and other upcoming titles will be released even on PlayStation 4.

You got it right: Sony has recently confirmed that some specific games will also see the light on the current generation of PS4 to meet users who do not intend to immediately switch to the new generation.

Just below, the official communication of the Japanese giant:

The newly revealed titles, along with the games we showed earlier, represent the best lineup we’ve ever seen in PlayStation history. Games like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, and Demon’s Souls will launch alongside the console. Our Worldwide Studios titles will be priced between $ 49.99 and $ 69.99 on PS5. Additionally, we know that the PS4 community will be switching to PS5 at different times and we’re happy to announce PS4 versions of some of our exclusives. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy A Big Adventure and Horizon: Forbidden West will also arrive on PS4.

In short, according to what was officially announced, too Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales e Sackboy A Big Adventure they no longer appear as absolute exclusives for PS5 consoles. Regarding the standalone adventure of Spidey, some doubts had already arisen in conjunction with the official announcement of the game.

On the pages of SpazioGames in any case we have already proposed to you the preview of the new Horizon, in order to share with you everything we know about Aloy’s return at the work of Guerrilla Games, an adventure that will take the brave heroine across the American west coast, into the dark ravines of the ruins of the city of San Francisco.

Haven’t played the first Horizon: Zero Dawn yet? You can recover it on PS4 at a special price.
