Honda Two-wheelers India will launch a new sport bike in the near future. This motorbike has an engine capacity of 200 cc and has applied the upside down front suspension. Will this naked bike be a suitable replacement for the legendary motorbike? Honda Tiger?
In a short video upload, Honda Two-wheelers India seduces motorbike lovers, by displaying leaked images of its latest naked bike. Reporting from the Motoroids page, this motorbike is a 200 cc Hornet type.
Physically, this motorbike has a fairly modern form, typical of today’s naked bikes. The color of the motorbike is black combined with blue. At the front, there is a gold upside down suspension which adds to the luxurious appearance of this motorbike.
One of the video frames also shows a part of the engine which apparently still carries air conditioning technology.
Although the engine area looks outdated, the dashboard of this bike is quite modern. The instrument panel is fully digital, with a minimalist design and uses a dark blue backlight. The headlights of this motorbike are also equipped with LEDs.
Details of this motorbike are still being kept secret until the launch date of 27 August. However, it is believed that this model is the Hornet 200 or an upgraded version of the Hornet 160.
The 200 cc naked bike segment in India is currently dominated by the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Pulsar 200. The presence of the 200 cc Honda Hornet can certainly add many choices in this segment.
And talking about a naked bike with a capacity of 200 cc, of course the memories of Honda lovers in Indonesia immediately flew to the legendary Honda Tiger motorbike. This 200 cc 1-cylinder SOHC engine motorbike has been discontinued by Astra Honda Motor (AHM) since 2014.
If there is a plan to revive the Honda Tiger, of course this Hornet 200 could be an attractive option.
