HO! HO! HO! THE CHRISTMAS SHOW at Players Circle Theater

Players Circle Theatre ⁢is launching⁢ its holiday season with a vibrant new‌ production,⁢ “HO! HO! HO! THE CHRISTMAS SHOW,” promising a festive experience for audiences of all ages. The show officially opens November 17th and runs through December 23rd, offering a‍ dazzling array of seasonal entertainment.

This year’s production arrives as a welcome dose of holiday cheer, aiming to become a cherished tradition for families in the Ft. Myers/Naples region. Players Circle Theater anticipates strong attendance, leveraging digital tracking⁢ to measure audience⁣ engagement and optimize outreach. The theater is utilizing ⁢Facebook Conversion API (CAPI) ⁢integration, alongside standard⁣ Facebook Pixel tracking, to enhance data accuracy and attribution for its marketing efforts.

The production is being tracked with a unique event ID, fbEventId, generated using a UUID version 4 algorithm. ⁢This ID is utilized in both PageView and TheatreTopicView events sent to Facebook, alongside topic parameters including the show’s region, “ft. ⁢Myers/Naples.”

Behind the scenes, the theater is employing robust data privacy measures. Email addresses collected via cookies are one-way hashed using SHA-256 before transmission to CAPI, ensuring⁢ user anonymity. The ⁢system retrieves cookies for Facebook Pixel data (_fbp,⁢ _fbc, and EMAIL) and incorporates server-detected IP‌ address ⁢(“2a01:4f9:6b:45c7::2”) and user agent (“Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel ⁢Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 ⁣(KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/140.0.0.0 Safari/537.36″) into ⁢the payload.

Data transmission ⁣utilizes ‌ navigator.sendBeacon when a hashed email isn’t available, prioritizing reliable, asynchronous delivery. Otherwise, a standard fetch ‌POST ⁣request is employed to send ⁤a JSON payload to /meta_capi.php. The payload includes event details, user data, ⁤and parameters specific to the “TheatreTopicView” event.
