HMD Global Announces Four New Nokia Smartphones | NOW

HMD Global, the electronics company that markets Nokia smartphones, has announced four new phones that will be released in the Netherlands. Two of the models have a battery that should last three days, the other two models have a three-year warranty.

HMD Global is releasing a total of six phones, which fall into three different categories. The X-series is the top segment, the G-series is in the middle segment and the C-series is entry-level. The cheapest C models, the Nokia C20 and the Nokia C10, are not yet available in the Netherlands.

The more expensive X series, which is available in the Netherlands, will be launched with the Nokia X20 and the Nokia X10. Both phones are powered by a Snapdragon 480 chip from Qualcomm, which supports 5G. The smartphones also both get a 6.7-inch HD screen.

The difference between the phones is in the camera. The Nokia X20 will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel quad camera at the rear. The Nokia X10 is equipped with a 48 megapixel quad camera.

Phones come without chargers

Both X phones come without a charger. HMD Global wants to “contribute to the reduction of the large amount of waste caused by telephone chargers”. A USB cable is still included.

The X20 comes with a working memory of 8 GB and a storage of 128 GB. The phone will be available in the Netherlands from May and costs 379 euros. The X10 will be available from June with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage (309 euros) or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage (349 euros). The phones come with a three-year warranty.

G Series will get phones with three days of battery life

The G series is launched with the Nokia G20 and Nokia G10. Both phones have a battery life of three days and a 6.5-inch screen. The Nokia G20 gets a 48 megapixel camera and the G10 offers a triple rear camera.

Both phones will be released in June. The G20 will have a working memory of 4 GB and a storage of 64 GB and will cost 169 euros. The G10 has a RAM of 3 GB and a storage of 32 GB. The price tag of the device is 139 euros.
