The elected “flew” at the opponent and took the lead in the 3rd minute after the throwing puck from the Meliška stick with a deft run directed into the Leskinen net. Meliško also had his fingers in the second goal, when Čiliak did not keep his shot and Puliš knocked the puck into the net – 2: 0. In the introductory part, the clearly better Zvolens added two more goals, which built a comfortable lead.

From the second period, Rychlík stood in the goal of the guests instead of Čiliak, but even he did not keep a clean shield for a long time. The home team developed a lot of pressure and Hraška shot from the blue line behind the back of his goalkeeper M. Mešár. Osterberg added the reigning champion’s sixth goal, and only then did the guests, who corrected to 2: 6 from their point of view, get the floor.

In the final part, the duel was practically just finished. In the 53rd minute, Zvolen Leskinen scored the seventh goal. The guests were unlucky for Ully’s attempt, which was stopped by the upper pole. After the shooting concert, the home team enjoyed the standing ovation’s applause in the final minute.
