Hitman: World of Assassination Receives Update Addressing Crashes, Bugs on Switch 2 and iOS
Breaking: IO Interactive has released a new update for Hitman: World of Assassination, addressing a range of issues impacting players on Switch 2, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The patch, detailed via X (formerly Twitter), focuses on stability improvements and bug fixes across multiple platforms.
Patch Notes:
iOS
* Resolved a bug on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Mini 7th Gen where adjusting the “Adaptive SuperSampling Technique” option mid-mission could cause the app to unexpectedly close or crash.
* Fixed an issue where placing an item could cause the inventory icon to disappear.
* Addressed an issue where input from a connected PlayStation DualSense controller’s touchpad wasn’t being registered.
Switch 2
* Resolved a bug preventing the use of alternative keyboard languages when entering names and descriptions for created contracts.
* fixed multiple issues causing agent 47 to phase through doors, become undetectable, experience bullet registration problems, and potentially crash the game.
* corrected a bug displaying UTC timestamps on save files instead of following the system clock setting.
PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5
* Fixed an issue where Targets and Suspects failed to appear in Instinct under certain circumstances.
Known Issues:
The progress team has identified the following ongoing issues:
* Briefcase/item loss in Freelancer: When traveling to specific locations (currently identified in Berlin) with a large illegal item, the briefcase may spawn incorrectly, causing the item to be lost or inaccessible. A temporary workaround involves repeatedly pausing and unpausing the game during the intro cutscene.
* Stuck Fighters in “The Infiltrator” and “The dragon”: Bruce Lee and his opponent may become stuck during their fight, blocking mission progression.
