Historic Longboard World Titles Claimed at El Salvador Point Break
El Sunzal, El Salvador – November 7, 2025 – Rachael Tilly of teh United States and Kai Ellice-Flint of Australia secured World Longboard Championship titles today at the 2025 Surf City El salvador Longboard Championships, marking a pivotal moment in the sport’s competitive history at the renowned point break. The event showcased exceptional longboarding skill against a backdrop of ideal conditions, solidifying El Sunzal’s position as a premier global surfing destination.
This victory for Tilly and Ellice-Flint not only crowns the 2025 champions but also underscores the growing prominence of longboarding within the World Surf league (WSL) and the increasing level of competition. Women’s championship Results
Rachael Tilly dominated the women’s division, defeating Avalon Gall in both Title Match 1 (15.20 too 12.44) and Title Match 2 (13.50 to 12.54).Her path to the title included victories over Soleil Errico (13.40 to 12.97), British Blomfield (15.10 to 12.00), Hiroka Yoshikawa and Chloe calmon (14.67 to 14.36 and 13.23 respectively), and kelis Kaleopaa and Tully White (15.83 to 15.27 and 10.37 respectively).
Men’s Championship Results
Kai Ellice-Flint claimed the men’s title, besting Edouard Delpero in both Title Match 1 (17.67 to 12.84) and Title Match 2 (16.00 to 10.33). ellice-Flint’s journey to the championship included a win against Taylor Jensen (15.27 to 9.17). Earlier rounds saw Jensen defeat Declan Wyton (16.17 to 14.50), while Wyton secured victories over Max Weston and Kevin Skvarna (13.36 to 10.90 and 6.67 respectively),and Steven Sawyer and Rogelio JR esquievel (12.73 to 11.83 and 10.43 respectively).
