Former striker Juventus, gonzalo Higuain, had been highlighted because it was considered overweight. Higuain has been under pressure to maintain his weight while at Juventus.
Higuain joined Juventus from Napoli in 2016. The Argentine striker was loaned out to AC Milan and Chelsea before being released by the Bianconerri in 2020.
Higuain’s physique was under the spotlight the first time he wore the Juventus shirt. The former Real Madrid player was judged to be overweight.
Higuain admits Juventus are very closely monitoring his physical condition. However, it is not uncommon for Higuain to hold his stomach when photographed.
“Juventus are more demanding about my weight,” Higuain told Tyc Sports as reported Football Italia.
“They take photos of me every year, but I just laugh, because I know how it ended… with 30 goals,” he continued The pipita.
“But sometimes I still hold my stomach for photos,” says Higuain.
