The Canadian didn’t give up and at 4-5 he got two consecutive break points again, but Federer wasn’t intimidated: he first resent the message to the sender, then closed the set with delicious serve and fly. In the second half of the game, the Swiss saved himself again with his serve, this time 0-40, but you never scored in response.

The break that extended the match came in Game 6, when Auger-Aliassime surprised Federer with a very deep response. In the final and decisive set, Federer appeared physically rather in difficulty and struggled to keep up with his rival.

The Canadian got the double break in minutes, taking advantage of two bad mistakes by Federer: the first with the backhand, the second with the volley from the forehand.
